The WPC Tutoring Outreach program officially launched with a Minute for Mission on March 12 of this year. We have come so far in six short months! I would like to share with you some exciting updates and opportunities for the program.

Expanded Opportunities
Due to an amazing Summer School experience at James River Elementary School, we will have openings this fall for volunteers at both Matthew Whaley and James River. Volunteers are being asked to consider which days and times would be best for them to participate. Matthew Whaley is adding three new classrooms this year, so we are four volunteers short based on our current numbers. In addition, Marie Nice at James River has a need for several volunteers at that school.
How to Raise Your Hand
If you have been thinking about tutoring but have not acted, now is a great time to do it! The first step is to complete the tutoring interest form below. Once I receive a completed form, I will contact you to answer any questions, give you the next steps, and welcome you into the group.
