Third Sundays are Family Sundays
Extra classes and social time for kids and parents
You’ve all seen and enjoyed “Second Sundays” outside our back doors. Now, the Christian Education Ministry is proud to present “Family Sundays” each third Sunday of the month. For our awesome church members, guests, and visitors with young children, this is your Sunday.
Spend the morning at WPC and get to know other parents and children in our church. There will be plenty to do that will be inviting, engaging, and welcoming all morning.
9:30 – 10:30am
During the 9:30 service, children from preschool age through elementary age will enjoy the return of “Art Sundays with Mrs. Kelly and Mrs. Phoebe.” They will also get the chance to experience new programming – “Sundays with Megan”– a special class with one of our CE graduates, Megan Davis. The mid-high and Senior High students will have their regular Sunday School classes. During this time, parents are invited to a Parent Social Hour in Room 218 for a time to gather and get to know other parents with children.
11:00am - Noon
During the 11am service, all families are invited to attend worship together. Preschool through elementary-age children will gather for Sharing Faith with Children, and then participate in the return of the revamped Wee Worship program! After SFWC, the children will gather with volunteers in Room 220 for a time of age-appropriate worship and activities related to the liturgy of the day.
And of course, the nursery is open all morning for children ages 3 and under.

September 17, October 15, and November 19. It’s never too early to mark your calendars!
