The Sunday School Year Begins on Rally Day: September 8
The education wing of the building will be bustling with energy on Sunday morning, September 8, as our Sunday School classes begin for the new school year. We will have guides at the entrances to help families find the age-appropriate classrooms for their children. Our teachers have been working hard to prepare, and we look forward to greeting you at 9:30am! We ask that parents complete a registration form so we can be aware of each child's needs. For convenience, you can fill out the form in advance using the link below.
Preschool Dance and Play Begins September 18
First is a brand-new afternoon class for preschoolers called Dance and Play. This class is an excellent way to invite new families into the building and cultivate community between parents of young children. This class will take place on Wednesdays at 1:30pm in Room 130. Children can be registered online. Registration deadline is September 11. Space is limited to 10 participants.
Third Sundays are WPC Family Sundays
Another exciting opportunity is our new monthly WPC Family Sundays. Every third Sunday of the month parents can gather during the Sunday School hour upstairs in Room 227 to enjoy coffee, treats, and community while their children enjoy special art and movement projects that help them experience faith with their whole selves. Then, the 11:00am service will be designed to welcome and include children as ushers and readers, and to help the whole congregation engage in embodying the scripture. After the service, there will be a lunch and activity for the whole congregation, specifically geared towards families. The first WPC Family Sunday will be September 15. Registration is encouraged but not required.

KidsConnect Day Camp is Back!
Our popular KidsConnect day camp returns on October 4, the first teacher work day of the school year. When our public school teachers have scheduled work days, the students have one-day student holidays. On these days throughout the school year, WPC provides a loving, safe, fun and meaningful day for our school-age children.

The cost is $15/camper per session, with a $40 maximum per family, to be collected at the door.

Finally, there are many other activities for children and families here at WPC including regular weekly activities like Carol Choir (children’s choir) and seasonal events like Trunk or Treat and Easter activities. We can’t wait to welcome all our children and families back to WPC this school year!
