Norman Elton

Organist and Assistant Director of Music

Norman Elton serves as Organist / Assistant Director of Music at Williamsburg Presbyterian Church in Williamsburg, VA, where also directs the Westminster Ringers, the church’s college handbell ministry, and oversaw the production of their acclaimed recording, Ringing Far and Near. In addition to his worship responsibilities, Norman is the Artistic Director of the Open Door Concert Series. He studied at the College of William & Mary with Thomas Marshall, continued further studies with Dr. Allen Shaffer at Christ & St. Luke’s Church, Norfolk and at a number of masterclass sessions around the country. Norman is an active member of the Tidewater Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, and has served as a member of its board of directors. Along with his wife, Rebecca, he spends most of his free time parenting two darling children, Haley and Jackson.
