Sherry is delighted to serve in the Director of Communications role at Williamsburg Presbyterian Church, where there is a constant challenge to present information about the many activities and wonderful people of the church in creative ways that are accessible to all. Starting out her career as an electrical engineer in research and development for radar systems at Texas Instruments, Sherry gained a healthy respect for technology. While pursuing an MBA, she came to truly appreciate the power of strong communications skills. She worked in sales and marketing for small technology companies in the Boston area before moving to Williamsburg in 1997, and has more than 20 years of experience working with small companies and non-profits to develop and implement marketing plans, solve business problems, and create strong communications platforms.

Sherry and her husband Paul have two grown sons, one daughter in-law, and another daughter in-law to be. As empty nesters, they now live in the heart Richmond, VA, where they enjoy exploring the many parks, museums, streets and restaurants on foot.
