UKirk Williamsburg is a PC(USA) college fellowship based out of Williamsburg Presbyterian Church. UKirk Williamsburg welcomes all college students who are seeking to find a “second home” during their years at the College of William & Mary. Check out the Facebook group UKirk Williamsburg to stay up to date on the latest happenings!
On Sunday mornings, you'll find us at both the 9:30 and 11:00 services seated in the balcony in the pews at the top of the stairwell.
On Wednesday nights, you'll find us downstairs in the UKirk Room (just follow the UKirk Williamsburg signs) from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. We eat a delicious home-cooked meal provided by members of the congregation, followed by a time of fellowship. We do bible studies, learn spiritual practices, listen and interact with guest speakers, or just have a night of fun by carving pumpkins or doing a cookout.
Another fantastic opportunity we provide to college students is getting involved with music! The Westminster Ringers is our collegiate bell choir that meets Thursday evenings at 7:30 under the direction of Norman Elton. We also have students who participate in our Chancel Choir Wednesday evenings, so contact Chris Bechtler for more information about being part of our beloved choir!
Finally, our Second Families program is designed to pair students with members of the congregation in intentional fellowship and support throughout a student's time at William and Mary. Our Second Families covenant to pray for and reach out to their student on a regular basis for food and fellowship.
Pastor Rachel Hebert, Associate Pastor of Community Care, will answer any additional questions or information you might wish. (Or, you just might run into her on campus at the Daily Grind holding Office Hours each week for students to buy them a cup of coffee!)
